SUSTAINABILITY

Recycled nylon

Nylon, a polymer synthesized in the lab, is appreciated in the clothing sector for its resistant, lightweight and elastic qualities, but it is difficult to dispose of. Recycling it allows us to obtain a new fiber that has the same properties as the original one, but with reduced CO2 emissions and a lower environmental impact.

A selection of United Colors of Benetton garments, the Beachwear Collection specifically, is made of ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber taken from production waste and scraps. ECONYL® maintains the same quality and performance as nylon but does not consume any additional raw materials.

Buying an ECONYL® swimsuit means helping us clean up waste on the planet and reduce the environmental impact that results from producing new synthetic fibers.
